My dear friend

Let not cares about wrinkles your brows
My dear friend
You have youth
And joy is before you.

Let not cares about wrinkles your brows
My dear friend
You are clever.
And the world is before you

So think, but not all the time
Sleep but not all time
Sing but cry sometimes
Love but not too deeply.

Let not cares about wrinkles your brows
My dear friends
For soon the rain will come
And the cornfield will gladden your heart

Let not cares about wrinkles your brows my Dear friend
For soon the Harmattan, the last of the season.
Will come to say “another year is ending”
And it’s cold winds will blow away all your cares

Her smile was loveable,
Her steps were slient,
As she came to meet me.
Beneath the low branching umbrella tree
Charmed by her beauty
I heard myself say,
I will stay with her forever,
But where is she!!
