DROWN AND BURN.

Poem

I hope I don’t drown

While I’m trying to save you,

Because at the sight of your darkness

I’m reminded of the beauty you possess,

The Strengths that comes from your mind

The pain from your heart

That shines so bright like sunshine.

I hope I don’t burn

Trying to pull you out of fire,

Because seeing your darkness

I’m brought alive and awaken

I’m renewed in flesh and spirit

Because, there again

I see Zion surrounded by Babylon.

So baby,

If we’d drown or burn, let’s do so together

And if we’d go for the sunlight,

Let it brighten our lives together…
