IN LOVE WITH MY STEP [Episode 3]

Episode
3 – “A date with Zara”

 Farad’s POV 

Fate
works in a way no one can understand. Sometimes we get what we wish for easily
with no or less stress but sometimes it’s a bit the opposite. Since the day I
met Zara there’s be a change in my life(that I can’t even explain). I feel like
part of me belong to somewhere  with
someone – that feelings looks familiar right?…

Last
night!

We
meet again Farad! Thanks for your help if not for you the thief would have got
away. Thanks once again said Miss. Zakiyah as she appreciated me. (all I could
do was to hmmm to her words).

She
turned to my dad and explained what happened the day she meet me. My dad on the
hand was proud of the son he had.They both held their drinks and stood of from
the dining table. The rest of us stood up and left to our various rooms while
the home keeper cleared the table.

My
sisters were eager to know the help I rendered to this lady, so I told them how
I caught someone who stole an expensive wrist watch from her boutique and then
Miss. Zakiyah thanked me for reporting the issue. It turns out the man had more
than just a gold wristwatch in his hidden bag. Miss. Zakiyah offered to place a
discount on the goods I bought but I told her not to worry. She was a bit
worried and I told her it’s fine, that we will meet again.

Wow
that’s fate “my brother is a Superman” , Priscilla said.. Now let’s get some
sleep I have a mission tomorrow – said Naomi as she walked into her room and
bang the door saying Good night!

Today!

I
lye on my bed wondering of imaginary moment with Zara(I couldn’t help myself
from thinking about her), My mp3 player was on playing “Rema – Ginger me”

Girlie
na your love wey dey ginger me

You
dey give me the love and the energy

Only
you wey dey high me like Hennessy (Hmm baby o)

The
song lyrics going straight in my heart, most especially the part He sang:

the first time wey I dey in love o …

Ohh
mehn! I love this Artist. Priscilla walked in trying to tell me something. So I
stopped the song to listen to her. She told me Naomi was going on a date with
her boyfriend and she thinks I should do the same” my eyes widen in surprise.
Now, there’s someone on my side who wants me to find that part of me missing.
But the question is how will I see Zara and then fix a date on the same day? I
was asking no one in particular.

I
freshened up and I joined the lady’s in their room. You know they take longer
to get ready for party. We three left home at exactly 6:30pm and arrived at the
café at 7pm. Naomi went in with her boyfriend ‘Fred’ and Priscilla and I hanged
out together( I so much love her). After sitting for 15minutes Zara walked in to
get some pizza.

Look
there bro, that’s Zara. I think she came to buy something. – said Priscilla. I
replied: yes dear, this is one lucky day for me. Waw this is really fate.

I
approached her and offered to pay for her pizza, she would have said no but I
plead to her to accept. Thanks Farad! What are you doing here? – She asked
politely. I came with my sisters. She’s on a date with her boy friend.

What
about you? Do you have a girlfriend?… She asked.

That
story has a very long answer if you would love to sit with me, I’ll make it
brief. Okay yeah, if you wish – she replied.

So
quick for a date. Priscilla sat and stare surprisingly while I sat with Zara on
a new table for a date. I ordered for wine and more pizza and we really had
good time together…
