IN LOVE WITH MY STEP [Season 2 Episode 2]

 Episode 2 – Communication Problem 

 Starting from where Episode one stopped…

After Farad read the SMS, he received another message from the same strange number. It read “Meet me at Kuje before 5:30pm if you want your secret save” I never knew I was covered with sweat while reading.

After I read the message, I checked my WhatsApp and saw he send me photos of me and Zara when we kissed and hugged, oh my goodness am doomed. I was really confused. I wondered how long this person had been spying on us. I didn’t say anything to Zara and Naomi but my expression shows it all.
Zara: What’s wrong Farad?… Yes What’s wrong? Priscilla asked also.
I didn’t know what to reply them because I think this is something I have to deal with alone. I quickly grabbed my small bag and moved closer to Zara. I held her hands and said: “I’m sorry I have to go. Our love is under attack but I promise I’ll be back.” I faced pricillia and said: “Hey Little sister, there’s something I need to fix so all will be alright. Then I left in a flash.pricillia and Zara where really worried when I hurriedly left. Yeah I did cut our celebration short not thinking of the decision I’m making I was thinking on making things right in my own way. I got to Kuje at exactly 5:30pm and immediately some guys escort me to a car where they had my eyes tied with black pieces, so I had no idea of where I was taken to..I was thinking I could handle this alone because I love her and I don’t want her worried or hurt.

 
Meanwhile, Zara was trying to reach me on the phone but the call couldn’t connect because of the poor network in that area. She kept on trying but still couldn’t reach so she tried texting instead.
Pricillia and Zara both went back to their hostel waiting to hear from me. Pricillia didn’t know it was really serious Unlike Zara she had the feelings that something wasn’t right even with the communication problem, we are very much connected.

We arrived at the place. It was like an abandoned warehouse( I was inwardly scared but I have to man up), I wasn’t my usual self because this was the home of bad guys and I wondered what they wish to gain with this blackmail. So many things started to occur to me at moment because I never thought the stranger was someone in a cult with so many gangs. This is really a big mistake! I was scared of the gang I saw around smoke and the one with me as they escort me to meet their boss.
One of the boys named snake asked me to sit on the chair in the room while he called their boss.
Snake: Boss here is he.
Farad: snake??? how can a parent give his son dis ..? I can’t even imagine, he even looks scary. I thought inwardly.
Boss: Good Job Snake!. Now Mr. Farad where were we?
Farad: Sir, what do you want from me?
Boss: so polite. I asked a question and you replied with a question you are really a citizen of your country. Well, you do not know me but I know you and all your secrets that can destroy you.
As he was talking, I received Zara’s SMS. My phone rang aloud. Oh Shit! I wish I had left it on Meeting mode.
Boss: That must be your beloved trying to reach you.. Snake take that phone from him.
Snake dragged the phone from my hands and hit me.
Farad: No You can’t do that. Are you here to hold me hostage? Tell me what you want and let me go please.
Boss: what did you need us to tell you? okay, let me tell you something interesting. Once I leave here, I’m going to meet Zara in her hostel. Trust me I will make her feel better.
The Boss walked out and I screamed: “Noo please. Don’t hurt her, she did nothing to you. Please tell us what you really want and we will do it. My dad can pay you any amount of money. Just please let us go.
His boys carried me and dragged me into an empty room and locked me up there. Oh my God what have I gotten myself into…I messed things up….Zara please be safe….I don’t think I can bear it if anything happens to you.

I was lucky they didn’t notice there was a smaller phone on me. So when I noticed everywhere was silent, I tried to call Zara to warn her of the danger but her line didn’t connect. The communication problem made things worse than they already are…..oh Nooooooo
