IN LOVE WITH MY STEP [Season 2 Episode 4]

 Episode 4 – The Devil Behind Everything pt 2  

Boss: Baby, Is that how you welcome your beloved? You know I’ve missed you 

Zara: (I was in shock)I’m not your baby. Please answer my question ‘why are you here?’ 

Boss: I’m here to see you Zara and I know who you’ve been hanging out with. And I find it disgusting. He continued… you know having an affair with your Step is a big crime according to Shariah. Two of you need to be flogged severely.  

Zara: Excuse me!. Please don’t say what you know nothing about..I won’t tolerate it. From the look of things you are Behind all of these…I know you are , I said in a firm voice but shaking within. 

Boss: Oh yes! Now you know. I’m behind it all and believe me not you won’t see your lovely brother again….. Oh maybe lovely boyfriend or should I say fiance.. ( I said in a funny tone). Hahaha.. 

Zara: What!, What did you do to my brother? 

Boss: Oh he is now your brother…. Common shut the crab, he’s your lover and don’t pretend. I’ve been watching you two and I have every evidence.  

Zara: And so what?… What so ever thing I do is non of your business and you don’t get to criticize people like your are their God. 

Boss: Bravo!!.. You’ve  got some nerve Zara, This is really impressive. But today is your one lucky day. I know you will come begging afterwards.  

Zara: God forbid me begging you! I’d never do that. Watch and see.  

Boss: great performance Zara. Your brother will pay dearly.
{Boss opened the door and walked out. Zara used the keys for the door and immediately rest her back on it and wept}
She tried to calm herself while she spoke in her mind “why would Rasheed be this cruel. It seems like he adopted Farad. What is he’s motive? He surely wants the world to know our secret. But how did he know?.. how? I found myself asking no one in particular.. Someone might have told him about I and Farad’s relationship”. 
She walked slowly to her bed and lay down. She closed her eyes and prayed silently before she finally slept. 

At Mr. Ahmed Zubairu’s House 
Farad arrived home at exactly 12minute past 11 that same night. 

When I got home, dad wasn’t home. Step mom was so shocked to see me. She asked: What happened Farad? Where are you coming from this late? And why are you not in school?.. I replied all three questions with just a word. Mom “I was Kidnapped”.  

Step Mom: oh my God, By who? I mean who on earth could do that? Did u offend anyone? and what about your Zara and pricillia hope they are save?. 

Farad: priscilla is fine and they are both in school.
{farad turned to Zakiyah in fear not knowing to say about the where about of Zara.} 

Step Mom: what about my daughter Zara? Farad talk to me.  

Farad: Mom, I don’t know but I think she’s not safe where ever she is…I don’t know mum I was serious panting..
[Zakiyah quickly picked up her phone and dialed Zara’s line] 

Step Mom: She’s not picking up. What I’m I going to do now?…. Let me call my husband. 
[she called Mr. Zubairu and informed him about the situation on ground. Within the next hour, police had already surround the whole school and hostel area. They used their alarms to wake everyone sleeping and demand to check every hostel of the threat]
Zara woke up when she heard the siren and alarm. She opened her door and went to meet the commissioner who was standing outside and asked to speak with her dad (step dad).
The commissioner handed his phone to her. 

Zara: Hello dad. Good Morning. 

Dad: Hello Zara are you okay? 
Zara: Yes Dad I’m fine. 

Dad: But your mom was worried about your well-being. She told me Farad was adopted and managed to escape. 

Zara: Is Farad back?… Oh Thank God. So Rasheed really had the guts to do such a devilish thing? 

Dad: who’s Rasheed?
Zara: Rasheed is the Devil behind everything and he will certainly pay for this ..i said tearing up.
