The Life Of A Pious Woman Episode 1

Once upon a time the universe brought forth four beautiful ladies together through a sport game. Pass it to me! Halimat screamed out so Faridah could find her. There you go! She threw the ball over to her right on time and quickly Halimat finds the net from where she stands. Yes! Naziat and Maryam screamed out and ran down to hug Halimat and Faridah. All four of them happily celebrate their victory and everyone called them the fantastic four!.

At the girls lodge few minutes after the game..

Naziat – (Helping Sandra massage her elbow and Ankle joints) So sorry. I know you feel so much pain. I was watching you while I played, I knew you injured yourself trying to stop Halimat from scoring.

Sandra – (feeling much better) Thank you so much for caring. Don’t mind me, I acted like I was okay because of those guys watching.

Naziat – Lolz… You’re so funny. You don’t have to hide your pain to impress someone. You should let it out so those who truly care about would help you.

Sandra – I think you do have a point. (She began to imagine) Maybe Chika might have come running…(she looks at Naziat with great excitement in her eyes)

Naziat – Running???.. for what?

Sandra – To help me out on the field if I had shown a sign of weakness.

Naziat – You are hallucinating… It might have been someone else that’s just it. Because you have a crush on him doesn’t mean he feels the same way.

Sandra – Hmm… I’m sure he does!.. I saw him gazing several times.

Naziat – (covers the bam and prepares to leave) Right now I don’t really know what to respond to you my friend but I wish you all the best. (She smiled at her and stood up)

(Naziat’s friends walked in and met her at the lodge sitting room with Sandra)

Halimat – So you are here!  When we’ve been looking everywhere for you.

Naziat – I’m very sorry. But you girls should have called me on the phone.

Faridah – Please don’t start Nazi. (She frowns at her)

Maryam – Come on girls let go inside our room. (She held Faridah and Halimat from behind and pushed them gently to go forward)

Naziat – (was right behind her friends) Sandra we will see later! I gat to go. (She left with her friends)

Author’s POV
There are so many thing in life we cannot outrun. So many things that we always fear to come. Death is one and then there is “disagreement”. No matter the happy moments people have together, they will always disagree on something.

The Muslim lodge room…

Faridah – Nazi… This your attitude is getting me pissed off. All four of us were supposed to be celebrating our victory at the field together but then you just left like it meant nothing to you.

Halimat – (added to Faridah’s comment) The most annoying part of it is, she was inside sitting with a Christian. Only God knows what you too were discussing..

Faridah – it was about a boy. I overheard them mention a name right before we entered upon them.

Maryam – Both of you should calm down with your words now.. see as you too are attacking my Ummi Naziat.  (She hugged Naziat)

Naziat – They are not attacking me… (She said softly as she felt the warm embrace of Maryam)  They’re only saying their minds.

Maryam – (untied herself from the hug) So what do you have to say?

Naziat – I’m sorry for leaving the field without a notice. I observed that Sandra got injured trying to stop the ball from entering the net, so I had to follow her in and helped her massage her hands.

Faridah – (looked at Naziat annoying) Madam Observer… You are really pissing me off Aswear.

Halimat – You’re doing like you are the only kind and righteous person on these earth. My friend you’re not even close to being a pious woman.

Maryam – (Displeased with the words of her other friends) You guys should stop it now. she said she’s sorry for leaving.

Naziat – What are your points? Halimat and Faridah.

Halimat – Our points??… You know it already!.

Naziat – No I don’t.

Faridah – We want to know who is your friend or rather who are your friends here in these lodge.

Naziat – You Three are my friends I cherish the most. And you know that. (she smiled at them all)

Maryam – (felt so comfortable with her speaking) Yes we know (she rest her head on her shoulders)

Halimat – If we are your friends then make us feel like you have our back too. Stop hanging around with those christain bitches.

Naziat & Maryam – (exclaimed) Audhu billahi!

Naziat – Halimat!… Why will you alter such?.  Don’t be a critics.

Maryam – You should seek forgiveness from Allah now you just commited a sin.

Halimat – Astagfirulah!!! (She seeks forgiveness) I don’t mean to use such bad words

Faridah – (held her to seat down) It’s because of your rage. Sitting down will help you calm (she also sat down together with her).

Halimat – I didn’t know when those words came out of me Nazi and I pray she didn’t hear that.

Faridah – (stood up and ran to the doors. She opens it to see if anyone was around the corridor but there was no one. She locked the doors back and went back to sit with her friends)

Sandra – (just a tip away from being sighted. She heard everything they said and she was really really disappointed.)
