 THE BIRTH OF DARK KNIGHT ASSASSIN

Sofiat POV
Aunt Hajarat and I travel to a very far city to find me several masters and one of them was named ‘Malik Khan’ he was my favourite of all. While the rest taught me different skills to kill my target and build my stamina, Malik Khan taught me to be merciful and have restrain. And he was my true master.

Malik Khan – Sofiat, you’re fast, you’re skillful and you don’t miss a shot target. You remind me of old times, I wasn’t as good as this though.

Sofiat – (smiled) Thank you master. You taught me all of it.

Malik Khan – No I didn’t… When you arrived her I could tell you were already been trained on some aspect and I recall beat up my son Rasheed.

Rasheed – (heard their conversation and replied) No dad, she didn’t beat me up. I let her win.

Sofiat – Ohhh yeah, I can knock down your ass again if you try me (referring to Rasheed)

Rasheed – (smiled) you no match for me so I’m not even bothered.

Sofiat – (about to attack Rasheed)..

Malik Khan – (held her back) I’ve told you sofiat, you should learn to have control.

Sofiat – I’m sorry Master… I’ll just be on my way.

Malik Khan – You can go.. we are done for today…

Sofiat – (replied okay and left)

Sofiat’s POV
Aunt Hajarat and I lived undercover in Abuja for the past three years and no one knew anything about us apart from Malik Khan. He was the only we could trust because he was a secondary school friend to my aunt and he was a sincere man who encourage peace after his encounter with the Young Scholar. Well he shared alot of his tales “The Young Scholar”. While I trained all this years, my aunt did concrete investigation on every dubious men and women in the city including my uncle Musa and  she prepared me a target list and then we returned back to our home town.

Aunt Hajarat – baby sofiat… While you trained, I got full details on the robbers sent to your home that night and I carefully did making sure we didn’t kill an innocent soul.

Sofiat – okay Aunt.. so when do I start striking now that we are in town?

Aunt Hajarat – Ohhh.. very soon!… First I will have to build you three (3) costume for proper disguise.  And then I’ll check every security settings on your lead and then tell you the plan ahead. I’ll be your ears and eyes my dear.

Sofiat – I can’t wait to get started hearing all of this…

Aunt Hajarat – Come let me show you something (she took her to an hidden work room she had set aside)

Sofiat – wow!.. lots of gadgets for tracking and watching the city. How did you manage to set all this?.

Aunt Hajarat – you know your uncle help me out paying your 3years hospital bill?.. I have excess left to ensure that everything works as planned.

Sofiat – (gave her a tight hug).. I won’t have been able to taught of all these if you weren’t here with me.

Aunt Hajarat – it’s okay my dear. When we aim for vengeance we must make sure we have a brilliant plan.

Sofiat – (Smiled..) my Master mind! What’s our next plan.

Aunt Hajarat – First step, you need to learn about all your enemies and their weak points. Just go ahead and read through the target list.

Sofiat – okay. The first target. (She reads: “Yekini Ayobami” A drug dealer and girls trafficker. He was born on the 15th of October, 1986. He’s a father of two beautiful kids and their mothers are one of the female adopts). Why is this the first target?

Aunt Hajarat – To create distraction, so no one will know our main aim is to get vengeance. This person didn’t hurt you but he’s hurting others and he’s evil just like your uncle. Get justice for this girls and become a Hero of Vengeance.

Sofiat – Sounds exciting to me… So I get to be a vigilante and not just anyone but the First Nigerian Vigilante “The dark knight assassin”.
