In the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic “MICHAEL,” Jaafar Jackson is prepared to assume the role of his famous uncle. In order to release the movie outside of the United States—aside from Japan—Universal Pictures International has teamed up. Lionsgate is in charge of handling this much-anticipated biographical movie’s distribution within the US.   

Producer of the project is renowned UK producer Graham King, who is best known for his work on the critically acclaimed film “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which starred Rami Malek and portrayed the legendary band Queen.   

This project will be directed by the talented Antoine Fuqua, who is well-known for his work on movies like “Training Day” and the “Equalizer” series. John Logan, known for writing “The Aviator’s” screenplay, wrote this one as well. “.   

The ongoing actors’ strike is expected to end soon, and principal photography for the movie will start right away, promising an exciting cinematic journey through the life of the King of Pop.
