The Life Of A Pious Woman Episode 10

Picking up from where the previous episode stopped…

Faridah – (staring at Chika lustfully) (he’s so handsome she communicates with her thoughts)

Chika – Hey! Good evening girls…

Naziat, Maryam & Halimat – Good evening sir.

Sandra – I hope you girls aren’t offended?.. I narrated what happened to me and Naziat and he said he wanted to see you and greet you Naziat.

Naziat – Okay.. (she got up from her bed and walked closer to them)

Maryam – (smiled) that’s nice of him…

Halimat -(Felt happy seeing the guy that paid for her hospital bills) No we aren’t offended (she came down from the up bunk) Let us just go back to the sitting room together to talk better.

Chika & Sandra – That would be nice!

Halimat – (She stood in front of Chika and appreciates him) You’re a nice person. Which is why my friends and I are giving you an opportunity to know us better. (She smiled at him)

Faridah – (became so overwhelmed all of a sudden) (she’s beginning to like Chika so well)

Sandra – What about me? Don’t I get such opportunity? (She asked Halimat)

Halimat – Of course you are our friend already. Isn’t that right Naziat?

Naziat – Yap! (She exclaimed)

Sandra – (the words of Halimat’s were more comforting than ever) (she also became so excited too)

(The Muslim girls came out of their rooms

Maryam – (leads the way) (A thought came into her mind and she spilled it out the next second) It’s been long we played our favourite game”Basketball”

Halimat – Ohhh Yeah!..  (she did some funny moves)

Faridah – I’m thinking of fixing a match soon

Naziat – If you just thinking about that then you are too late.

Faridah – Why?

Sandra – That’s because, Nazi and I had already fixed a date for that and this time I would be in your team

Chika – And I would be there to watch…

(They all walked down to the sitting room and had good time discussing with one another it was really fun)..

Curtains…

The next day…

(Sandra opens up to her other copper friends her intentions of becoming a Muslim)

Sandra – Right from time I love the Muslims life of modesty and believes but whenever I say that, my mom would say they are just hiding under a disguise of modesty but now I realized she was wrong.

 Copper Jennifer – Of course she’s wrong… She might have said that because she encountered with a demon amongst them

Copper Taiye – Yeah absolutely (he took the words right from Jeni’s mouth) They are demons always leaving amongst us and in every culture or believes.

Sandra – (surprised with their response) I didn’t know you guys would be in support of me so easily.

Copper Taiye – Come on Sandra… After spending years in school and now finally serving our country, do you think we are learned enough?

Sandra – Of course I don’t doubt that. I just needed you guys opinion on something.

Copper Jennifer – Opinion?.. Shoot girl!.. you’ve come to the right place.

Sandra – (Smiled)

Copper Taiye – We would do our best to help you in anyway.

Sandra – Lately have been so close to Naziat and recently her friends has also became close to me. I like their ways, I love their faith and belief which is why I wish to become a Muslim.

Copper Taiye – Ohh okay.. you didn’t just say that Sandra. I guess there’s someone besides you.

Copper – Babe! You’re f*ckin freaking me out here… You know that right?

Sandra – (confused) why do you say that? I don’t think I understand what you both meant.

Copper Taiye – You are not a baby anymore. you have to do what makes you truly happy. If that’s the path you’ve find then you should embrace it.

Copper Jennifer – (in support of Taiye) That’s exactly what we are trying to say. You should trust your instincts and follow that which your heart loves and do it with all perfection.

Copper Taiye – We believe destiny is fulfilled by the choices we make.

Copper Jennifer – The most intriguing thing about all you told us is that you alone developed love for the religion and that precisely show it is destined.

Copper Taiye – (had a sip from his drink) Yeah. I think things are starting to fall in place my friend, Habib won’t find it difficult again to marry you..

Sandra & Jennifer – Habib??.. (surprised)

Jennifer – The guy at the gym? He has eyes for Sandra.

Copper Taiye – This is supposed to be a secret but I spilled it out already… I think Scheweps has a confession pills in it.

Sandra – Lolz!..

(They both laughed at the funny words Copper Taiye altered.)

Curtains…

Sandra – (meets up with naziat at the front yard where she was washing her clothes) Naziat good evening.. how come you are washing this late?

Naziat – I won’t be having much time in the morning so I just had to wash now… Tomorrow I have 8am class to lecture.

Sandra – Ohhh okay!.. (feeling excited ) let me help you. (She sat close to her and attempts to help)

Naziat – (held her hands) No noo don’t worry yourself okay.  I’ll do it on my own. My friends also intend to help me but I also told them not to worry..

Sandra – Okay… Where are they?

Naziat – They are inside probably resting..  (she noticed Sandra was feeling so excited) you are looking so excited and that’s a good thing. Do you like to share?

Sandra – Of course I was about to…

Naziat – So tell me… What’s the deal?

Sandra – I want to fulfill my promise..  I want to become a Muslim…
