Familiar Woes: Kwara Poly PCMs Encounter Graduation Date Issue, Auchi Poly’s Story Repeats
Kwara State Polytechnic PCMs encounter a familiar issues with their graduation date, just like Auchi Polytechnic pcms which may impact their ability to proceed with their national service.
At some NYSC orientation camps, Kwara State Polytechnic graduates (PCMs) have been asked to leave the camp due to a discrepancy in their school’s graduation date, which falls short of the required duration as calculated by the academic calendar, leading to their ineligibility for service deployment.
The NYSC camp officials who carryout the online registration for the PCMs reported that, the PCMs of Kwara State Polytechnic finished their program in 29 months, falling short of the 30-month requirement, which led to their disqualification from participating in the NYSC program.
To address this issue, the school management has decided that all Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) must come to the school to collect a letter regarding the graduation date discrepancy. This letter, which will be issued to NYSC camp officials, will serve as a clearance document, enabling PCMs to proceed with their registration without hindrance.
This issue is particularly affecting individuals who graduated from their National Diploma program in 2017 and 2018. If you’re yet to proceed to camp, please ensure you obtain the necessary letter from your school to avoid any inconvenience or embarrassment during the registration process.
