Beyond the Drills: Embracing the Joy of Camp Experiences

Hello Batch B Stream 1 PCMs! You’re just getting started with the camp experience, but get ready for a whole new level of excitement! After the swearing-in ceremony, things are about to take a thrilling turn. Buckle up for an unforgettable adventure – the real camp fun begins next week.

Let’s shift our focus to the positive aspects and leave our worries behind! Despite the challenging drills under the scorching sun and rain, there are plenty of exciting experiences to look forward to. Let’s embrace the good times ahead!.

1. Miss NYSC and Mr Macho.

Here, different platoons will present a representative.

The winner, 2nd runner up and 3rd runner up will be honoured.

2. Inter-Platoon competitions
   Football Tournament
   Volleyball Tournament

Exciting games ahead! Football teams will be drawn from various platoons, battling it out until the championship. Meanwhile, ladies from each platoon will form volleyball teams to compete against their peers in a fun and competitive contest!

3. Social night.

Here, there will be music, dance, comedy, talent hunts etc.

It will take place btw 8-10pm for 10 straight nights after a week of camp arrivals.

Each platoon will be the host of every night.
Different platoons will present the following and a winner will emerge;
-dance
-comedy
-drama

4. Camp festival.
   You can wear any clothes you like, each platoon will have representatives that will perform a particular culture’s dance routine. A winner will also be emerged here.
5. Inter-Platoon march pass.

The best marchers are selected to represent each platoon on Closing Ceremony, series of rehearsals are done.

6. Man O War morning jogging.

The interesting aspect here is the songs sang.
So hilarious and cool.

7. Platoon Man O War day.

Each platoon will have special day for Man ‘O’ War drilling. On this day, you will do rope bridge climbing, rope ladder etc.
