Camp Life
- Arrive early to secure a comfortable bed space.
- Screening starts at the gate, where your loads will be searched.
- Registration involves hostel/bed space allocation, paper registrations, and kit distribution.
- Follow instructions strictly and keep your meal ticket safe.
- Camp duration is 20 days, with the 21st day for departure.
- Dress code: all white attire (T-shirt, shorts, and shoes) except on Sundays.
- Morning regimented program includes praise, worship, prayer, and parade training.
- Food: be prepared for camp food or buy from the Mammy Market.
- Stealing is prevalent; be wise and smart.
- Respect and obey soldiers; they can punish you.
Post-Camp
- Receive your first allowance (#33,000) in cash.
- Get your posting letter and report to your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
- Arrange for transportation to your PPA.
- Find accommodation at your PPA, possibly through the Fellowship or employer.
- Complete clearance at the NYSC Office in your Local Govt to avoid issues with subsequent allowances.
