The “End Bad Government” movement, modeled after the previous “End SARS” protests, appears to have begun in some states, with reports of protests and demonstrations emerging from Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt and Abuja. The objective of these movements is to raise awareness of and demand accountability for corruption, nepotism, and other forms of bad governance.

In response to the planned “End Bad Government” protests, banks and other sectors have reportedly shut down operations nationwide to safeguard their facilities and employees. Additionally, the police have made it clear that they will be strictly enforcing the court order that requires protesters to confine their activities to designated areas.
