BREAKING NEWS: Again, the NYSC have demobilized 54 UNICAL fake graduates from camp

NYSC management

Another blow has been dealt to fraudulent activities in Nigeria’s education system, as the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has dismissed 54 individuals who were found to have presented fake certificates from the University of Calabar (UNICAL).

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has disclosed that the University of Calabar (UNICAL) was responsible for even mobilizing a bread seller who never attended the university for mandatory national service.

The dismissed individuals now face the consequences of their actions, serving as a reminder to all that integrity and honesty are essential virtues in the pursuit of success.

In a related development, just last week, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) nullified 101 NYSC certificates belonging to graduates who claimed to have obtained their degrees from the University of Calabar (UNICAL), following a thorough investigation into their academic records.

Reports indicate that the university itself was the one that initiated the revelation of these fraudulent certificates, sending a formal memo to the NYSC management team.

This collaboration between the university and the NYSC also showcases the importance of partnerships in combating corruption and upholding ethical standards in the education sector.
