 INTO THE DARKNESS

Sarah’s POV
At times, the best days of our lives are someone else’s bad days… But we don’t have to feel the sadness of that person mostly especially when they aren’t dear to us, because they were once happy on our sad times and we aren’t trying to balance an equation here but we are only appreciating happiness whenever it comes. It’s a choice to make, unless you want every bit of your days to be a taste full of sadness.

Draco – Come with us! My lord would be very pleased to meet with you.

Voice – No, I have other mission to accomplish. I can’t honour your invitation.

Adams – You can go for your mission afterwards but first don’t turn down our invitation.

Voice – (On a second thought) Okay, let’s go (he followed them into their car and so they left the club before the police arrived)

Curtains…

Majid – Secure the area and carry out thorough check (he gave order)….

The low rank inspectors followers the instructions of their leader and they went into the building carefully searching every corner. Majid on the other hand was feeling curious.

 A female detective approached him…

Sarah – Sir!.. we found four dead bodies and one was a female corpse with a costume and a mask on. It seems the Dark knight Assassin has been killed.

Majid – (without saying a word approached the diseased) (he uncovered the face from the mask and took a picture of it) (he covered the corpse back and had it taken to the morgue)

Sarah – (followed him as they both entered the dark tinted glass car and zoomed off to the station)

Inside the car, Majid and Sarah had conversation about the Dark knight Assassin…

Majid – I wanted to meet with the dark Knight assassin in person and know exactly why she became an assassin.

Sarah – There’s definitely going to be a good reason.. but unfortunately, she can’t tell us.

Majid – I always had the feelings that she was a girl even when people were doubting that it’s a He not She. But I was more certain when Mr and Mrs Adekenbi confirmed it was a pretty lady.

Sarah – Okay, What she was doing was too risky for her alone. But she was really fearless and strong.

Majid – Yeah she’s really a Hero… It so sad she was killed too quick.

Sarah – Don’t you think we need to keep her death case secret if the press ask?

Majid – I was thinking about that too… Announcing her death would cause panic in the city.

Sarah – Yes sir..

Majid – Let see if I can talk to my dad about it and then what ever he says would be communicated.

Sarah – Okay Sir! Please do.

Majid – Thank you Sarah! You’ve been a great assistant. (He smiled at her as he opened the door of the car)

Sarah – (smiled in return and also opened the car door on her side) You’re welcome Sir… The pleasure is all mine.

Sarah’s POV
I was so happy having a good conversation with my boss for the first time because I was crushing on him. I wished he wasn’t so focused on his job and I wished everything would have settled in the city so he could actually see me for who I am.

Curtains…

Draco and Adams arrived at Uncle Musa house with the stranger. Seeing him (uncle Musa) they all bow down in prostration except the stranger. Adams tries to give him signal but he refused to submit.

Uncle Musa – Who’s this man? (He asked Draco)

Draco – He said he’s name is ‘D Boss’ and he killed the Dark knight assassin.

Uncle Musa – hahaha ‘D Boss’… I see why you are disloyal. Tell me what is your real name… (Asking the stranger ‘Voice’)

Voice – My name is Rasheed Khan

Uncle Musa – Khan! Ohhh I know you… The adopted son of Malik Khan.

Draco and Adams were both surprised to know Uncle Musa knew something about him.

Rasheed – (furious) what did you mean adopted?.. And how did you know me?

Uncle Musa – You should learn some. The Devil does not like joke. You were adopted and you’ve been deceived by a false family. (Trying to manipulate him)..

Rasheed – I don’t understand…

Uncle Musa – Come let me enlighten you more.. (he approached him)… ‘D Boss’ which you claim to be, I’ll make you achieve that if you work with me and remain loyal.

Rasheed – (Felt betrayed by everyone he once knew…) (Tears)

Uncle Musa – It’s okay my son… I will bring you out from the darkness.

From his (uncle Musa) words “I will bring you out from the darkness” You and I could tell it’s quite the opposite… Rasheed will fall into the darkness.
