DREAMS
Have you ever dreamt?
Once I dreamt of being a poet
Often I set my pen to paper
Often my brain let me down
So I dreamt my days away
For my dream never came true
Have you ever dreamt?
Once I dreamt of being a farmer
Often I cleared the farm
But the grass grew back again
So I dreamt my days away
For my DREAMS never came true.
Have you ever dreamt?
Once I dreamt of being a Librarian,
Often I booked at the books
But I could not read them
So I dreamt my days away
For my dream never came true.
Have you ever dreamt?
Once I of being an actor
Often I got on the stage
But I forgot all my lines
So I dreamt my days away
For my dream never came true.
Have you ever dreamt?
Once I dreamt of being a doctor.
Often I went to the theater
Often I came out again
So I dreamt my days away
For my dream never came true.
So as I lye here!
I remember my dreams and I dream again
Of a far off land that was my home
Where i rose my childish days
And thought of nothing else
But of being always there
