AN ILLUSION

 I thought I found someone.

One to hold,to love,to cherish.

I thought I found a person.

One who will love me for me,

Without a side glance at my flaws.

 I thought I found you.

The one that my heart longs for.

The one permanently fixed in my heart and mind and my dreams.

 In my dreams,I see you and feel butterflies.

I see you and I feel like I can never ask for more.

But then, I open my eyes and I realize that it was a dream.

Disappointed, because I thought you were there, that you have always been there.

I never thought that you were an illusion..
