Blood On My Hands Part 1 Episode 9

 THE NEW COP 

Sofiat POV
At the crime scene, a detective stepped in to observe the premises, he was a new guy and everyone who saw him that day could tell he was a great cop. He analysed the possible ways I might have used to gunned all 15 guards down in 4minutes. And clearly he got it!

Majid – This dark knight assassin spared your lives why? (asking the cocaine couples)

Mrs. Adekenbi – We are innocent that’s why…

Mr Adekenbi – She kills only the guilty one’s.

Majid – you mean he’s a She? assailant?

Mrs. Adekenbi – Yeah, you’re going to like her cute cop.(behaving funny)

Majid – Woohoo… She’s a professional Indeed.

Mr. Adekenbi – I can see detective pretty boy is already fall in love with his culprit. (Laughed stupidly)

Majid – You two are crazy..

Mrs Adekenbi – you can just let us go already we are innocent. Trust me.

Majid – How on earth will you two be innocent when your guards are guilty?… ‘She killed them’ that makes them guilty.

Mr Adekenbi – They were holding guns (referring to his guards)

Mrs Adekenbi – but you didn’t caught us with anything and there was nothing on our little save house where we host our silent parties in order not to disturb people.

Majid – Not until we are done with all the investigation, you have to come with us. (They took the cocaine couples along with them and left to the station…)
 
Majid’s POV
I always wanted to save people and that’s why I joined the force. Initially I wanted to be an Airforce but I didn’t have the means to.. and so I stick to this ‘detective pretty boy’.

Majid – (Walked into the station with the two suspects handcuffed) Take them in and lock them up. (He gave order) and left to the IGP office.

Mr Nassan – (on call…  Majid knocked and opened the door)

Majid – Good day Sir

Mr. Nassan – (smiled seeing his son on his uniform) Welcome my son… How was your trip?

Majid – it was fine, Thank you sir.

Mr. Nassan – Now let’s get to work…

Curtains

The Police starts serious investigation following the cases of Mass murder and the Cocaine couples. It was still a shock that there’s a Knight walker out there in the streets killing the guilty one’s… Oh yeah it’s questioning and everyone needs to know why and who’s next on the list.

Sofiat’s POV
At exactly 5:30am, I arrived home and prayed. The thought of the next targets couldn’t let have a nice rest. I was remembering vividly how they had their turns and I just can’t forgive them for what they’ve done.

Sofiat – Aunt.. before I left last night, the police arrived and there was this guy I saw. It was as if he knew I wasn’t long gone and he kept on looking around and towards my direction.

Aunt Hajarat – Okay.. I guess he’s a detective. And maybe he’s a new one. Probably he was sent here to Oyo to help find evidence concerning your mission and how to stop you

Sofiat – well… Soon it will all be over! But I do wish I could be the town’s guardian angel.

Aunt Hajarat – Having blood On your hands probably make the bad ones scared. And of course they don’t see you as an Hero but as a persecutor and so they are frightened. But that fear would limit the bad deeds knowing they’d die miserable for it.

Sofiat – Yes that’s true… I see the fright in their eyes whenever I show up on every mission.

Aunt Hajarat – Huh but you know there’s one man who won’t get scared about anything?

Sofiat – Yes I know… ‘Uncle Musa’… I wonder where he got his heart from.

Aunt Hajarat – He has always been a beast right from childhood and he remains a beast. It’s why you need to stop him.

Sofiat – Aunt please prepare me for the next mission.

Aunt Hajarat – Not so fast… We need to take a break. With the new cop in town. We need to be more strategic with plans.

Sofiat – Smiles… My smart aunt. You this old woman how come you still this smart (she teases her)

Aunt Hajarat – (smiled) it runs in the blood of the family and it’s in you soffie

Sofiat – I couldn’t have been able to accomplish all of this without you.

Aunt Hajarat – You will soffie… Someday I won’t be with you and you will have to go on all on your own.

Sofiat – (she felt unpleased with the words) Why would you say that aunt?.. you aren’t going anywhere.. you are just 48 and you still have a lot more years to stay with me…

Aunt Hajarat – it’s okay… Come here (she hugged her baby soffie)

Soffie and her aunt stayed on a low… The new cop patiently waited for months for the next strike and it was almost like forever. Just like every other cities, when there’s a new cop in town, the expectations are high. And now Majid must do his best to find who the dark knight assassin is…
