 A DAY OF MERCY (PART I)

Author’s POV
The people we come across in our lives matters a lot because verily, every single person we meet in this life shape our future.

Rasheed – (returned to Uncle Musa’s mansion) (standing in front of uncle Musa he said;) You’re right about everything… I’m adopted.

Uncle Musa – Now you believe the devil doesn’t joke?

Rasheed – Yes my lord (He prostrated)

Uncle Musa – (smiled) your loyalty has fetch you one more chance in life. To work with me, I must test you. Now follow me (he entered into a secret room)

Rasheed –  (followed him)..

Uncle Musa – The news shows that you’ve killed the wrong person. The Assassin is still very much Alive. And she’s at Apelle.

Rasheed – (looking around as he saw guns of different size and types in the first room he entered) I haven’t heard about this news trend. But it can’t be possible.

Uncle Musa – oh yeah it’s possible. I do have this feeling that my little sister is behind all of this. The assassin is trying to be a threat, but I’m prepared for anything she dishes out.

Rasheed – (surprised as he saw plenty of female and male assassin’s being trained in this big hide out)

Curtains…

Sofiat – (untied her wound)… I need your help or would you let me bleed to death? I don’t think I have much time left. (She felt so weak)

Abdulrasaq – (offered her sit and got a first aid box) you were hurt badly. (He carefully operated her hands) (they both discussed at length while he operated her hands and then observed pray together when it was time)

Sofiat – I had to wait for you to wake-up because I couldn’t get rid of this bullet alone. If not for your help now, my city would definitely lost their Hero.

Abdulrasaq – You were so certain I’d help you…

Sofiat – That’s because I know the kind of person you are. A caring, loving and Godly hearted person. (Planning to have some rest on a small mat laid for her)

Abdulrasaq – (smiles) Masha Allah. You can be the same way. It all depends on the things you learn from the people around you. And I see the impact in them.

Sofiat – (smiled) Thank you

Abdulrasaq – You’re welcome. I’ll go prepare some food for us. (He entered the kitchen to cook)…

Sofiat’s POV
It’s very rare to find someone who would accommodate a killer because of their good heart. I was a total stranger to the Young Scholar but he looked out for me and honoured me as a guest.

Few hours later …

Aunt Hajarat – (on comms) Hello my baby sofiat!

Sofiat – Good Morning aunt.. How are you?

Aunt Hajarat – I’m fine… And I hope you’re fine too?

Sofiat – Yes I am (she stood up as she heard someone knocking at the door)

Aunt Hajarat – (noticed her distraction) Who’s that?

Sofiat – It’s Amina, Khadijah’s sister. (She could recognise her from the picture in the file)

Aunt Hajarat – You need to find out why she’s here..

Sofiat – Okay (she got up and walk towards the dinning room) (she over heard Amina’s question and noticed the young scholar didn’t know what to say, so she interfered)

Abdulrasaq – (Allowed her in an Offered a sit) Ehmm… I didn’t know you were coming, I’d have made it three meals.

Amina – Ohh that means you have a guest?

Sofiat – (came out from the room) Yes he has (saw the jealous look from amina as she stares back at her)

Amina – (surprised) okay!

Sofiat’s POV
I had a great conversation with Amina claiming to be Abdulrasaq’s cousin. She was very respectful and nice too. It was clear her reasons for coming was to express her feelings for the Young Scholar which she did. But it’s all kind of weird, the people I met and the state I met them my heart felt weak on what to decide on my mission. To round it up, the Young Scholar gave me a pep talk and then I knew today is a day of Mercy.

Sofiat – ( I left and went directly to Yakub’s house) (entered the compound and noticed they were already packing out) Ohhh I almost got here late.

Curtains…

Uncle Musa – (faced Rasheed) I told you I have a mission for you in order to test your loyalty. I know Malik Khan has trained you to be strong and fierce. But now, I want you to live to your title ‘D Boss’ here are some men that would be on your command. (He showed him twelve hefty guys) They are your disciples…

Rasheed – (bowed and praised the devil) My lord tell me my mission.

Uncle Musa – I need you to kill my little sister… But before then I need to pay her a visit…

Rasheed – (shocked and speechless)
